Jaguar sign up David Beckham as the face of Jaguar in China
Land Rover had a go at making Victoria Beckham the face of the Range Rover Evoque, and now Jaguar have taken Mr Spice on board as their new face of Jaguar in China. David Beckham has been revealed as a new Brand Ambassador for Jaguar, with the ubiquitous Mr Beckham front a centre in a new campaign in China to promote the Jaguar Brand. And it’s a good move.
THE GOVERNING BODY for UK motor sports has paid tribute to a "hugely promising" young British driver killed in a crash. Sean Edwards was a passenger in a Porsche when it reportedly hit the barriers at Queensland Raceway in Willowbank, west of Brisbane, Australia, during a private test session. The driver, a 20-year-old man from Brisbane, was pulled from the burning wreckage and is in intensive care with life-threatening injuries.
Ian Callum reflects on the design of the new Jaguar XJ
Ian Callum is Design Director for Jaguar, and the man does have a good pedigree. His career started round the corner from us, at Ford’s Design & Research facility at Dunton. He worked on a number of Ford’s RS projects, before moving on to TWR to join Tom Walkinshaw, and was responsible for the design of the Aston Martin DB7 and the Vanquish.
